In 1995 DJ Pandora discovered her love for Jungle.
Since back then the scene in Vienna was still kind of small, she soon decided to change that by becoming an active part of it. She quickly purchased two turntables and a mixer and off she went to her first gigs at very "underground" places like Vienna's EKH or the Arena.
She even ran their own parties like "Pandemonium" (1st floor: Hardcore-Techno, 2nd floor: Jungle) or the highly acclaimed "Total Exstacy"-HappyBreakbeat events. Bookings at Vienna's premium weekly DnB club "SUB" soon followed.
At that time she decided to team up with her year long friend "Lighta", making the female duo "Pandora and Lighta" a wellknown trademark in Vienna's DnB scene. They also played at Vienna's classy Oldschool event called "Wicked", where Pandora is still a regular guest.
"Pandora and Lighta" played their famous B2B sets at gigs together with celebrities like ShyFX, Wagner, DJ Die, DocScott, AlleyCat,... at locations like Flex, Meierei, Wuk, Volksgarten, Massiv,...Later, they made friends with Austria's first MC of international standing: Shnek MC.
Teaming up with Shneck MC made their appearances even hotter! Bookings all over Austria followed: Wels, Linz, St.Poelten,Graz, Salzburg, St. Johann, Zell/See... Not to forget international bookings in Berlin (SteppazConvention) and Budapest (both cities twice).
The duo ran some small yet well received parties at "Sloppy Joe's". Before departing in Jule 2001, Pandora and Lighta staged one last event supported by female:pressure: at the 8th of September they hosted a party at the Meierei featuring DJ Wildchild, Jenna G. and MissDee !
Since September 2001 the girls decided to make their own ways. Pandora is still spinning at many places since then, like Innsbruck, Belgrade, at FM4-Parties,...And now the show is going on and on and on... watch out!
