Dj Over-X comming from Latvia, Eastern Europe, real name Cynthia Yakane, was born on 19th of November 1982. She is a dj, who spins hardstep Drum'n'bass, is a part of Headrush Records, based in New York City, USA. Started to spin in 2001, her influences were Position Chrome, Bad Company, Ram, dj DetRoit. Dj Over-X has a lot of gigs as a dj so far, she had spun a lot of events in USA - New York (Konkrete Jungle @ Pyramid, Amen @ Bar B, a.o.), Washington DC (Turntable Ballistics), Alabama (Good Times), Virginia (Ground Zero, Render, a.o.), also Belgium, Estonia, Latvia. Her smooth mixing style and dj skills makes her killing staff more deadly and is a real "candy" for all drum'n'bass headzzz all over the globe. There's no sense for her where to spin - at a big venue or at small club, every party becomes a real crash, because of the darkness she brings. Why it is so hard??? Because she is real party head, and hard & dark DNB ( P/S - and not only DNB) is full of endless energy, which makes You feel, that You are in the party:) What is she all about is the mixing - smooth and invisible. She spins only Hard & Dark DNB, but she likes also other styles of DNB, Detroit Techno, Hard Techno, Hardcore, Industrial, Electro etc.
